Currently enrolled University of Maryland students may earn an add-on certificate from the Institute of Applied Agriculture if they meet the following requirements.
- meet the graduation requirements for the add-on certificate curriculum
- earned a minimum of 15 additional, advisor-approved credit hours beyond the credits required for the completion of their degree major
- has taken at least 12 credits of INAG-coded courses
- successfully completed an internship (INAG288/INAG289 or equivalent), which requires 320 hours of on-site work
Students wishing to declare an add-on certificate must do so at least one semester in advance of graduation.
