Compenstion:
Salary: $34,031 - $40,678 annually, D.O.E.

Education Requirements
Two or four year degree in golf course management or related field of study.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of one year working on a golf course maintenance staff, supervision of a crew, pesticide and fertilizer application.
Position Requirements
The prospective candidate must have the ability to accurately perform and record pesticide and fertilizer applications according to state regulations, including calibration of equipment. He/she will also be able to identify plant disease, insect issues, and fertility needs as well as moisture related stress and assist in developing strategies and control of these issues. Candidate must be experienced in and able to perform daily maintenance practices, cultivation practices and be able to successfully train and supervise employees on these practices on a daily basis. He/she must be able to communicate with the pro shop staff with regard to daily course conditions, course set up and maintenance, and perform the duties of the Course Superintendent in his absence. Other duties include, but are not limited to: irrigation repair, irrigation scheduling, landscape maintenance and enhancement, equipment operation, project leading and supervision and other duties as assigned.

Hog Neck Golf Course also includes a pro shop, café and special events area. The facility is owned and operated by Talbot County Government and is located in Easton, Maryland on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. As the turf care team, we strive to achieve optimum playing conditions for golfers of all skill levels, while incorporating newer practices to enhance the condition of the course. We are currently in progress of course improvements and projects to improve the overall quality of an already award winning gem of the Eastern Shore community of golf courses.
