Internship Details: Farm Intern
Responsibilities: To assist in everyday farm needs including planting, harvesting, composing, weeding, pest management, tending to chickens, CSA and Farmer's Market staffing, while keeping a positive attitude and maintaining an inclusive environment. This is an unpaid intenrship and there is no housing available. As compensation, interns will receive shares of vegetables on a regular basis.
Time Frame: Flexible
Qualifications:
- Interested in working with adulsts with developmental disabilities
- Able to keep a positive attitude!
- Work in a team environment
- Dependable
- Comfortable working with volunteer groups, including youth
- Ability to perform demanding physical labor
- Work outdoors in all weather
