Oral Communication Lecturer wanted

The Institute of applied Agriculture is searching for a Fall Oral Communication Lecturer.

Position Summary:

 The Institute of Applied Agriculture (IAA) invites applications for a one-semester (Fall 2013) Oral Communication Lecturer position, to teach five sections of oral communication to undergraduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park. The IAA is a 60-credit academic certificate program in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Maryland, College Park.

 The University of Maryland, College Park, MD, is a research extensive Land Grant institution located in suburban Washington, DC. The 1250-acre campus has excellent research libraries and Metrorail access to national and international research institutions and archives, non-profit agencies, and significant cultural landmarks. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Communication, Mass Communication, Agricultural Communication & Leadership, or closely related field.
  • 2-3 years teaching experience, preferably at the post-secondary level.
  • The key person will demonstrate excellence in teaching.

Closing Date:

date is August 23, 2013.
