Harris Named Implementation Coordinator for MDA Nutrient Management Program

The IAA congratulates alumnus Bryan Harris (1995) on being selected Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) Implementation Coordinator with the Nutrient Management Program.

In his new position, Harris will oversee both the agricultural and turfgrass nutrient management programs. Harris joined MDA in 2002 as a nutrient management specialist serving farmers in Frederick, Carroll, Howard, and Montgomery counties.  He worked with both the implementation and certification and licensing sections of the Nutrient Management Program.

Upon graduating from the IAA’s Agricultural Business Management program in 1995, Harris got a job working for University of Maryland Extension as a nutrient management consultant in Carroll County.

Harris lives in York County, PA with his family. He has an agricultural background and still farms evenings and weekends.
