Congratulations to IAA’s Fall 2018 Dean’s List Students

February 5, 2019

Each semester students who complete 12 or more credits with a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher are awarded the Dean’s List designation. Being a member of the Dean’s List demonstrates a strong academic performance and provides an additional bullet point to put on a resume. IAA students who achieve this level of academic excellence, however, receive the added benefit of a free lunch.  IAA Director Glori Hyman invites all IAA Dean’s List recipients to lunch, which students claim is much better than dining hall food.

“It’s an added incentive,” says Hyman who began taking students to lunch about 5 years ago when she noticed a drop in academic performance. It seems to be working; nearly 19 percent of IAA students made the Dean’s List for Fall 2018 compared to 6 percent in Fall 2013.

Congratulations to Fall 2018 Dean’s List.
