* Adult ataenius beetles are starting to emerge at this time. The Baltimore site had extremely high Ataenius adult flight activity when compared to other site locations.These adults are the result of the 1st generation of grubs which were present in the soil during late May-June. Also at the Baltimore location adult Asiatic Garden beetle activity was quite high.To date masked chafer and sod webworm counts are much lower this year than last year.
