Tree Care Intern

Position Summary/Purpose of Position:

An energetic person is needed to assist in taking care of young planted trees for the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy, a non-profit land trust and watershed organization located in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Work will be done in the Loch Raven Reservoir area and surrounding Gunpowder Watershed to assist in the GVC Reforestation Program. Must have completed a minimum of one year of college-level coursework. Hours are flexible and can include weekends. Approximately 10 hours a week preferred. Commitment to a spring, summer and fall schedule is preferred but a June, July, and August commitment is allowable.
