Program Pays Out Dividends for 2nd Year in a Row
December 1, 2004USI Insurance Services and Bituminous Insurance Company are extremely proud to announce that a dividend was declared for the Maryland Forests Association Group Safety Insurance Program for the second year in a row. The 40% dividend represents $389,955 of returned insurance dollars to associate members for the 2003 policy year. This figure was up from the $95,853 dividend paid for the 2002 policy year. The dividend was calculated on the earned premium generated from all lines of insurance coverage, except the Umbrella, for each participant for the 2003 calendar year. The Maryland Forests Association distributed these dividends during the month of December 2004, to all participants of the insurance program who were active members of the association during the 2003 calendar year. Delinquent membership dues for the 2003 year must be paid to the association prior to the distribution of a dividend.
The Maryland Forests Association encourages all of its members to investigate this insurance program if you haven't done so. Programs such as this should help in building our association and we suggest that you pass this success story on to any non member within the forest industry.
