Well, WE DID IT! Eleven organizations came together and within 87 days put together an outstanding Legislative Dinner in Annapolis featuring a presentation by Dr. Patrick Moore. This project involved a lot of fund raising, planning and just plain hard work, by a lot of people. My thanks go out to all of you. As we say here on the shore "pretty work".
In spite of a negative e-mail and phone campaign concerning the dinner from some of our adversaries, attendance was very good. We even had a few pickets at the Hotel Door. We must have done something right. By all accounts those attending the event found it very informative and thought stimulating.
I am hopeful that the coalition will be meeting again very soon. Now is the time to move forward building on the momentum generated by the success of this event. I will appreciate any suggestions and ideas you may have concerning future projects for the coalition to tackle.~ ppa
