Finding more opportunities to learn than money? ~ Let MFA offer to help! In 2005 we instituted a special Student Rate for college students and also solicited our members to become College Student Scholarship sponsors. This was a great success with seven college students attending on scholarships. In 2007 we had eleven students attend. MFA wants to be sure that if you want to come and learn more about Maryland's forests, resources and industry, that nothing stands in your way!

No matter what sector of the forest community you are in, the future of our forest resources affects and is affected by us all.Designed to cover MFA's broad spectrum of members, forest landowners, foresters, recreationists, loggers, and mill owners, the Annual Conference guarantees thought-provoking discussions and new insights. There are three ways that you can choose from to help MFA spread the "good news" about forestry and the forest products industry in Maryland: as an financial sponsor, exhibitor, and/or silent auction donor.
We are looking for sponsors who share our vision and are willing to financially ensure the success of this event. In addition to speakers' fees and expenses, each year hotels charge more for the incidentals that are necessary for a successful conference.
