IAA Alumni are invited to join our listserv that we set up to facilitate communications. Alumni from the Institute of Applied Agriculture are encouraged to join our electronic email list.

Messages to be posted to the list are sent by the current subscribers to:     iaa-alum@listserv.umd.edu

This listserv is moderated, so messages are approved before going out to the list. Mesages sent to the list are approved by a moderator. This will prevent junk mail circulation through the listserv.

Subscribing to the list:

1.   Send an email message to: listserv@listserv.umd.edu

2. The email message should contain : "subscribe iaa-alum        name-of-subscriber"

3. For example, Jane A. Doe would email a message to        listserv@listserv.umd.edu and enter:
       subscribe iaa-alum Jane A. Doe (in the message body)
       No subject is needed. No signature is needed. The email        address is captured automatically.

4. You may receive several messages from the listserv server       verifying your intent to subscribe, and then instructions on       how to use the listserv.

Unsubscribing from the list :

1. If you want to leave the list send an email message to:        listserv@listserv.umd.edu

2. Type in the body of the message:  "unsubscribe iaa-alum".

3. You will be removed from the listserv list.

Posting Messages:

Messages to be posted to the IAA-ALUM listserv list may be sent by the current subscribers to:  iaa-alum@listserv.umd.edu
The listserv will then distribute the message to each member of the list.
