Kristen is originally from southwestern Virginia and loves the mountains in the fall. She regularly drives on the Shenandoah parkway in the fall just to see the trees change colors and to get back to the rural lifestyle for a while. She also loves nature and will always look to do something outdoors. Whether its going to festivals in the summer and fall, snorkeling in the Virgin Islands, or taking pictures of the cherry blossoms in the spring, Kristen loves to get back to nature whenever possible. Kristen is also a huge sports fan and loves football, baseball and hockey. she roots for the Virginia Tech Hokies, the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles, the Washington Capitals, and of course now the Maryland Terps. She has been living in the DC metro area for almost 10 years and when she isn’t teaching she is hanging out with friends and her pets.
